Vic Gerard prides itself on providing our clients with first class service which is why we are looking to add to our already amazing team! What's the schedule for this position? As a Shop Hand, the schedule is Monday-Friday 8:
00AM to 4:
30PM.
Overtime may occur during our peak season which is April-November.
Is this a seasonal gig or a full time position? VGGC is a year round operating organization, this is a full time position.

What does a typical day look like for a Shop Hand at VGGC? This position reports into the office, checks their work orders and starts their day.
The daily work orders may reflect cleaning customer vehicles (Wash/Quick Wax/Tire Shine) and C level Technician repairs such as new car bolt on assembly, changing oil, swapping tires and fixing chargers.
A utilitarian team player that is willing to assist other teams and learn as much as possible about the mechanics of the vehicles we service/sell.
The Shop Hand has a bay to work out of in our current shop where all supplies and tools are provided.
We have tools but would allow a candidate to bring their own box if desired.
Should the assigned work orders be completed for the day, the Shop Hand will assist other departments as needed.
This is a newly created position that is utilitarian in nature but does require a specific skillset of mechanical ability.

This associate position is considered intermediate but does require mechanical knowledge.
What is VGGC looking for in each Shop Hand applicant? Applicants must have experience utilizing hand tools and be mechanically inclined.
Experience working on automotive, small engine or electrical repair as a professional or hobby is preferred.
Power/Vehicle washing is also preferred.
Applicants must bring good character with natural drive to get the job done effectively and efficiently.
This positon will be working in a shop of seasoned mechanics.
What is expected for the Shop Hand position daily? Report to shift on time consistently exhibiting dependability.
Utilize required experience to complete assigned daily work orders.
Complete any work order tasks effectively, efficiently and timely.
Communicate well with customers and staff.
Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
Willingness to assist other teams or departments during the offseason.
A natural drive to assist others and grow with the company.
