Vic Gerard prides itself on providing our clients with first class service which is why we are looking to add to our already amazing team! What's the schedule for the Golf Fleet Technician position? As a Golf Fleet Technician, the schedule is Monday-Friday 8:
00AM to 4:
30PM.
Overtime occurs regularly during our peak season which is April-November.
Is this a seasonal or a full time position? VGGC is a year round operating organization, this is a full time position.

What does a typical day look like for a Golf Fleet Technician at VGGC? This position reports into the office daily, confirms posted work orders with dispatch and hits the road.
This position operates out of a company fleet vehicle and dispatches from central office daily.
The daily work orders will reflect visiting routed golf courses for weekly/bi-weekly service performing C level technician responsibilities (Oil Changes, Battery Swaps bolt-on repairs etc) This position is vital in ensuring that each course's golf car fleet remains fully operational and aesthetically sound during the season.
The main priority for this role is to get golf cars that are down or unusable back up and running for the club to use.
During any downtime this position will assist other teams as necessary such as picking up/delivering private/commercial customer vehicles or lending a hand in the Service shop.
What is VGGC looking for in each Golf Fleet Technician applicant? Applicants must have professionalexperience in Automotive, Small Engine, or Marine Engine Repair.
Understanding vehicle mechanics and how they operate is a must.
The understanding of basic hand tools and mechanics is required for this position.
Applicants must bring good character with natural drive to get the job done effectively and efficiently.
This position must demonstrate the ability to display professionalism at all times as this is a client facing position in a luxury industry.
Customer Service and communication will be required.
This is an active position mostly working outdoors or inside vehicle storage areas.
This position requires driving for extended periods of time with a decent knowledge of the NJ roadway system.
Experience driving a company service vehicle or driving with a trailer is preferred.
Bring your own box - Must have your own basic hand tools.
Specialized tools will be provided such as pneumatic, diagnostic or product specific.
What is expected for the Golf Fleet Technician position daily? Completing assigned daily work orders visiting professional golf courses, commercial organizations or private clients.
Complete onsite tasks such as watering/changing batteries, replacing tires/checking tire pressure, tightening loose parts and other light mechanical repairs.
(Specialized brand specific training provided.
) Delivering or picking up a vehicle with a trailer.
Ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.
Ability to communicate with office personnel and clients professionally.
Willingness to assist other teams or departments during the offseason.
