At Ingerman, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing repairs, troubleshooting, and carrying out preventative maintenance on assigned property/properties.
This includes maintaining and improving the condition of property grounds and buildings and the timely completion of work orders.
Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities High school diploma or GED required Minimum of two years of maintenance or construction experience One year of experience as a full-charge residential maintenance technician is preferred One year of introductory supervisory experience and above average motivation preferred Knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations is preferred EPA certification preferred HVAC certification preferred Must be able to work a flex schedule and be on-call for emergencies on weekends, evenings, and holidays Requires the ability to read, speak and comprehend the English language Proficiency in performing plumbing, electric and machinery repair Ability to follow direction and work independently Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, action-oriented environment Requirements Must have hand tools ANSI approved steel-toe shoes/composite Must have a valid Driver's License Must have reliable transportation Willing to assist with other properties within the portfolio and surrounding portfolios as needed Willing to travel up to 10-20% of the time WE'VE GOT YOU COVERED We take pride in supporting the health and well-being of our teammates and their families:
