Leader in baggage handling and material sortation systems seeking an experienced Project Engineering Lead to manage multiple projects requiring expertise with airport baggage handling or large-scale warehouse sortation systems.
Shall:
Work with key representatives including project managers, engineers and customers to determine project requirements.
Oversee project engineering and design efforts, provide engineering and design expertise for automated machinery projects.
Supervise staff engineers and drafters working on designing material handling systems for baggage handling systems in airports or other transportation hubs.
Requirements:
Experience designing conveyor and sorter systems for industrial material or baggage handling operations.
Ability to calculate limits of structural integrity, fatigue, and stress and counter potential problems through effective designs.
Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD software.
B.S. in engineering related field.
Familiarity with drafting, dimensioning and tolerancing.
Comprehensive compensation plan with starting base salary up to $85,000 annually with bonus and full medical, dental, vision, life and liability insurance included. Full company matched 401(k) and opportunities to advance within the organization.
