PURPOSE AND ROLE:
?


The Inventory Coordinator compiles and analyzes records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment.


?


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:




  • Daily cycle counts



  • Customer Service cycle count- request to resolve customer shipment ?discrepancies???



  • Creates, enters, and runs variance report for Production Manager approval.



  • Daily inventory control ? monitors, analyzes and resolve discrepancies, which includes:


    ??????????????????????? 1.? Negative inventory


    ??????????????????????? 2.? Product listed in primary location


    ??????????????????????? 3.? Product in receiving and research locations






  • Inventory Adjustments - must work with and report adjustments to the Cost Accountant according to? established policies and procedures.?



  • Item Reclassification



  • Inventory transfers



  • Old Inventory counts - monitor and work with Operation?s Manager with old inventory disposition






  • Year-end inventory analyst.?? Work with senior management and inventory manager to prepare the site for year- end inventory cycle counts.??


  • Records stored, shipped and received items according to established procedures and daily balances.





  • Serves as back-up to Inventory Manager and performs Inventory Manger duties as needed.?



  • Trains inventory control team members on duties as needed






  • Additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
?




  • Associate?s degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school and two years of related experience.


  • Must be able to work any shift.



?

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
?




  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing concrete variables with limited supervision


  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.


  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deadlines


  • Strong analytical, statistical, math and computer skills.? Prior experience with MS Office, including Word and Excel required.


  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing concrete variables with limited supervision


  • Prior SAP, JD Edwards experience; other ERP software experience a plus a plus


  • Self-motivated and detailed-oriented.


  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the company.


  • Ability to work independently and to work collaboratively in a team environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
