Inventory Control Team Member

PURPOSE AND ROLE:


This position compiles records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment by performing the following duties according to established policies and procedures:


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Plan and execute formal physical inventory count by working with senior management to perform the site physical inventory.




  • Ensure daily inventory control of all inventory movements including:


    ??????????????? ??????????????? 1.? negative inventory


    ??????????????? ??????????????? 2.? product listed in primary location and ERP system


    ??????????????? ??????????????? 3.? product in receiving and research locations




  • Perform monthly tank reconciliation, quarterly outside warehouse and printer supplies cycle counts.


  • Complete inventory adjustments and transfers by reporting adjustments to management according to established policies and procedures.?


  • Manage inventory staff to coordinate responsibilities such as daily cycle counts, create, maintain and distribute inventory reports to stakeholders.? Manage the inventory department personnel, their duties and responsibilities.


  • Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies by interacting with team members, accounting and other departments.


  • Monitor slow moving inventory and rework.? Coordinate with departmental manager on dispositions of slow moving inventory and rework.


  • Record and track overages, shortages, damages, returns and shipping functions to ensure accurate records and inventory levels.


  • Serves as back-up to Inventory Coordinator and performs Inventory Coordinator duties as needed.?


  • Maintain high level of quality, customer service and regulatory compliances.


  • Promote and ensure a safe work environment by advocating safety training, accident preparedness and compliance with the Company, OSHA and other standards and regulations.


  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with peers, team and senior management in order to communicate effectively and strategically implement solutions.


  • Perform other duties as assigned.



REQUIREMENTS:



  • Bachelor?s Degree or equivalent from four-year college or technical school, five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.


  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with changing concrete variables with limited supervision.


  • Prior SAP and MRP experience a must.


  • Must have at least 5 years of Inventory Control experience.


  • 2 years of prior Supervisory/Management experience required.



EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:



  • Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.


  • Self-motivated and detailed-oriented.


  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills to effectively work with individuals both inside and outside the company.


  • Attendance at work and punctuality is an essential function of this position.


  • Working knowledge of MS Office, including Word and advance.


  • Must possess ability to influence people to achieve department objectives.



 

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
